Walpole Awards
Launched in 2001, the Walpole Awards for Excellence is held to honour individuals and companies who exemplify British Excellence by their work and achievements across design, craftsmanship, business, culture and sport. The awards are presented annually at a reception hosted by British icons, most recently Joanna Lumley, Stephen Fry, Simon Callow and Natasha Kaplinsky at The Banqueting House, Whitehall.

The Walpole Awards for Excellence 2008, in association with Barclays Wealth, were held on the 17th November to honour individuals and companies who in the views of our illustrious team of judges, members and the industry achieved the pinnacle of excellence across seven categories including luxury, design, international, overseas, emerging and online talent.
Held once again at the splendid Banqueting House Whitehall, this years British Luxury Industry Oscars saw the industries best come together to celebrate including Vivienne Westwood, Tamara Mellon, Olivier Nicolay, Lord March of Goodwood, Natalie Massenet, Brent Hoberman, Lucia Van der Post and Peter York.
